DOME

Hello every one 
I have make two model of a dome with the same dimension 
the first model is a dome supported on a liner pinned support 
the second model is a dome supported on a circular wall and the wall supported on a liner pinned support 
when i show the stresses on the dome in the two model 
The results are different
what is the reason of this ?!

Hi @Mouhammad_mazzaz

My assumption is that you disregard the fact that walls actually move in the horizontal directions and 'drag' the dome.  In addition mind the smoothing option stetting for the dome + walls model.
