Disconnect beam from column

I have a beam that i dont want to be connected to a column that is passes by. This is shown in the image below. The beam goes from 6 to 3 and i dont want the column at 5 to be a support of that specific beam. Is this possible to achieve?

Hi @tomas.jonebratt

By default slanted beam is disconnected from a vertical column.

You can also exclude selected members from nodes generation

Thank you for the response! That's very interesting since i have the correct one checked.

As you can see in the following picture, the beam seems to be connected.

Would it be helpfull to add that slanted beam into the "Members neglected in generation:" category?

I guess it should help if you add the beam into the "Members neglected in generation:" list.

You have a balustrade panel attached to the beam.  Is it a meshed panel or a cladding?  FE mesh can generate a node to connect the beam and column as well.

Thank you for the response. Im only using claddings.

I have the standard settings in the structure model. And if i neglect the choosen members that makes for further problems as my secondary beams now dont connect to anything.

For example in the image below. For some reason Robot wont let me use releases on my columns connected to the supports. I want my columns to be pinned to the primary beams in the roof. But since robot wont alow me to use releases "Pinned-Pinned" on the columns they get fixed and transfer moments. Any idea on how the fix this?

EDIT: To clarify. If i put the releases on my columns to "pinned-pinned" that somehow interfere with the supports (even though they are pinned supports) and create some kind of instability error in the model. And since the columns dont connect to the end of the slanted beam it doesnt solve the issue by me changing the releases of the beam either.
