Let me express my concern:
I think that Robot is a great program of structural design. Is based in a strong code.
Although, when the actual developpers disregard the enphasis on it structural caracteristics, i think structural engineers will move away to other solutions.
Since Autodesk buy Robobat in 2008 the follow structural functionalities disapered:
- robot expert ( pack small utilities)
- concrete building structures (cbs) very usefull for fastening modelling and verificarion of buildings;
- esop
- rcad and rsteel
- and now spreadsheets
I also have cheked the React software and i think it will be a light Robot with enphasis on the graphic layout. Not an improvement on the structural capabilities.
