Deferential edge load on cylinder

Hi 

 

I'm designing a foundation for a large cylindrical structure and I need want to convert the wind load on the side of the structure to a couple, but I would like to apply this couple force as a differentially distributed edge load. How would I go about doing something like that?

Please could you give me some guidance on how to add the rigid links. I've never been able to do it successfully in Robot.

If you want to size the foundation I think, it is more simple to determine the tensor at the center of gravity of your fondation and use them for your calculations...

could you please confirm me that ''blocked all'' in rigid links (in this case) is appropriate!
