Good afternoon,
I joined to aluminum and glass company from few days and my preivous job as strucural engineer in concrete projects ,
I want to ask some questions about this reigon :
1- what is the programs helpfull can use to analysis and design aluminum , Glass, steel , connections .

2- I have curtain wall projects include ( aluminum profile , transom , brackets with anchors and Glass) how i can analysis and design this curtain wall or structre glazing

I'm not familiar with this kid of design so I'm not able to give you any good advice. I hope somebody else will be able to give you some tips.

a curtain wall can be easily calculated by hand.

Aluminum profiles are generally isostatic or with 2 spans at most.

Proifil aluminum manufacturers provide catalogs with the mechanical characteristics of their profile.

For the glass, ditto, there are catalogs that give the thicknesses according to the wind region and the dimensions of the glass.

In these catalogs there are simple formulas to determine the thickness of the glass depending on whether it is supported on 2 or 4 sides.
