Cursor and Values Missing

Cursor and values next to it of Moments I have the map set to display are missing. Get Blue dash or three dots instead. Means I can't add descriptions (indicate graphically) to display on my maps or see the values at any point.

Could some explain whats going on?

The Blue dots next to the maps box is where my mouse was.

That worked for the view I was in but when I reverted to full view it has reverted to not working and the button is not helping

Figured it out, It doesn't allow me to add values when showing panel cuts. 

Otherwise the button indicated works thanks.
