Hi,

 

Can someone tell me why Robot places some rebars outside the stirrups, and then tell me that the "cover does not satisfy environment requirement"? See picture attached..

In the model, it is the beams on the ground. I think I solved the problem with adjusting the max/min distance between the reinforcement.

 

Another question: how does the software calculate the required reinforcement compared to the provided reinforcement? With the required module, I get something like 9f16, while I with the provided module get something like 5f16. It is related to the same file as i attached.

Which bar number in a model do you refer to?

Have you included torsion in the calculations of provided reinforcement?

No, I have not. According to EC2, I don't need torsional reinforcement, but I assume that is why I get such different results?
