Convert Floors to Claddings - Easiest way?

I am exporting a REVIT model into ROBOT. Floors from REVIT are ofcause exported as Floors in ROBOT. I Greatly prefer to have my slabs modelled as Claddings so i was wondering if there was some clever method of doing the transformation from Floors to Claddings?

AS i see it, i want claddings because i need to be able to control span direction. Also i will not be making bearing capacity calculations on the slabs. And if they slabs are Floors instead of Claddings the calculations creates a mesh from them resulting in me having an extra 4000+ nodes to handle.

Any ideas?

I went with Romanich's solution. It was a tad easier to carry out.
