Connection of Steel beam to shear wall

Hi,

I have modeled a steel building in Robot where steel beams are connected to shear walls. The shear forces from the shear walls are being transferred to the steel beams, which I do not expect to be.

The issue is arising from beams 44, 193 and 105. I am attaching the model for your review.

Thank You,

Rameez.

Are you referring to such peak values caused by model inaccuracies?

Yes...I think that was the problem here... Thanks for your reply.

Another issue in the model is that there is Type 3 Instability warning...and it seem to change the node every time I re run the analysis... In some of the discussions in your forum I had seen that this type 3 warning can be ignored.. Can I ignore it in my model as I have thoroughly checked as to why this warning is occurring but could not come up with the answer.

Thanks again for your response.

In this case in this model it is mathematical instability - ignore it
