Here, in one example code parameters for bolted connections are available, and in one examle this option is not available. Why is it so? Where this option is not available how does it select the Type of analysis and category due to shear ?

Are you refering to screen shot 1 or 2 or both ? What is "not available" on them?

For those connections where you do not see "Code Parameters" they are always treated as type A
Request to implement other types is registered in dvlp database to consider it in future development plans.
