CLT Footfall Analysis

Attempting a footfall analysis of a CLT and Steel Beam Floor System aiming for a maximum response factor of 4. Producing response factors far higher than expected and can't understand if it is a modelling issue. Please advise if modelled correctly. KLH and SCI P354 guides used.

Hi @h_bellAN3LN!

First I guess you need to disregard density or remove self weight in "load to mass conversion". 

Because in this case you are considering the mass of structure twice
