Hi guys,
We've seen cloud based analysis trialled in Revit ("Project Storm" / Autodesk 360).
What plans are there on the horizon for massive Robot models to be calculated on the cloud.
I'm thinking large scale time history / footfall analysis. Some of these models take 3 days or more to run. Surely this could be achieved over the cloud. See link..........
https://structuralanalysis.360.autodesk.com/
Surely this is possible for large Robot files as well. The assembly of the calculation model and verification could be done on the local machine, if there are no errors or instabilities then data could be sent to cloud for analysis.
I've had my PC tied up for 3 days now, and it's getting annoying!
Cheers,
Tony

Tony,
Please wait for the official Autodesk information about the 2014 release.
Which will no doubt also inclde RC design to as3600 AND steel connection design to AS4100
I created app the automatic generation of combinations for Revit (C#)
It works with the 360.
Give me a Revit model to the test. Pls.
