Beam (Lateral offset)

Hi everyone,

I have an interesting design I am trying to accomplish with a Revit-Robot link for analysis. A 'normal' model has analytical lines intersecting through centers but in this case it is all lateral offsets.

I have come across a design request where all panels are prefabricated and will rest on column 'seats'. This is of course very easy to model in Revit but I am struggling to link this model with Robot. I presume Rigid Links would apply but this is a massive multi level structure so I would hope that somehow these rigid links are automatically created when I link to Robot. At the moment when I do the link it pulls the members to the centres which is incorrect. In reality the offsets will create offset loading and induce moments on the column.

Can anyone provide some assistance how to go about this so that I can link a huge multi level structure and keep the offsets for analysis.

I have attached the screenshot below of a plan view of the typical scenario.

You may consider defining a dummy short bars in Revit with cross section that is "hardly visible' and then assign it a "rigid" properties after exporting them to Robot
