Again on AISC-341 implementation

Good Morning,

I write regarding verifications standard AISC 341-10. In the forum they told me that the program checks the relationship between width and thickness. I had to request information on the forum because, as confirmed, there is no manual explaining what the program does and verifications which are not implemented. Anyway in the forum there is a list of checks made by the program.

Checking the connections with other program I realized that Robot is not checking the width-thickness ratios that define the ductility level profile. Robot supports a tubular profile 200x200x5mm in a SCBF system, although it is not really admitted because is a profile that does not meet the required degree of ductility.

Likewise, Robot does not check the profiles of the columns of SCBF system evaluated as appropriate profiles that do not comply with AISC 341-10.

In the file you see I share the elements 353 and 333:

I'm waiting for clarification as to what is happening in the AISC 341-10 checks implemented in Robot.

Best regard,

Daniel
