αcr - proper determining

Hi!

 

I am a freshly user of ARSA and I need a help.

I have tried on every way to solve this problem and this is too hard for me 🙂

 

Can anyone tell me how to proper determain an αcr (critical coefficient) in portal frame?

Do you mean the critical coefficient for buckling analysis?

Thank you for your reply.

 

I have example like in the file. αcr should be 19,83. Can you tell me where i am doing fault. My αcr isn't even similiar than this.

1.974e1 = 1.974*10 = 19.74
