Welded beam from revit to Advance steel

Hi . I had a question about Revit Structure. I wanted to know why Revit does not support welded beams like Advance steel, and when converting from Revit to Advance steel, the welded beams are lost. Also, this problem exists for double sections and Revit does not connect on double sections. Does Autodesk have a program to bring Shop Drawing to Revit or not?
Thanks

You can create welded beam in Revit only throught family. Revit haven't got specific tool like in Advance Steel. And you can transfer welded beam from Revit to AS only if you have ready made size of welded beam in Advance Steel database. Sad but true.

what do you mean by "ready made size" Welded Beam in Advance Steel?

in revit to advance steel conversion table we only can assign rolled section tables to revit families.

Hi,

I mean you can create Advance Steel user profile (section) previously or make new section in Advance Steel DB table and select it during mapping. It's not ideal solution but the only. And it doesn't work with Revit compound beam. To transfer compound beams from Revit you should make it as 2 different beams in Revit.
