Walls not showing material shading in plan?

Hi all,

I am making walls of conc. or metal stud. Unfortunately the walls appear white in plan. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this. The only thing that is working is override graphics in view. How can I adjust my settings so that the correct wall shading appears in plan?

Each material has a different poche / shading setting. Both are set to solid fill, as are their Coarse Scale Fill Patterns. My view template is set to course. They are new walls and their are no phase overrides. The Phase Filter: Show Complete, Phase: New Construction. There are no wall filters. What do you think went wrong?

How tall are the walls?  Are they cut by the view Range cut plane?

The walls were definitely taller than the level shown, since they extended to the level above.

You're right the cut plane was higher than the top of the walls, by only 6"!

I lowered the cut plane and now the correct color shows!

thanks

@ToanDN  Do you know why the top of walls are appearing white? Yes I understand that they were below the cut plane. So shouldn't their surface patterns show instead? I have the surface pattern of concrete set to 230 but the top of walls showed as white. Why would that be?

Ends, top, and bottom of walls don't have the same material as the face of wall unless you manually paint them.
