Viewport with different x and y scale

Hello,

I'm doing a sheet with sections from a topography. The sections are very lenghty and I want to change the horizontal scale to half of the vertical scale. Is it possible todo something like that? If not, does anyone have a workaround to do such thing?

No, you can not have different scales on the x and y axis.

In the Netherlands we sometimes use large sheets (A0+, A0++). A0++ is 914 * 2000mm. No problem because A0 plotters normally uses rolls of paper, so length is not a real issue.

Other more complicated possibility would be to export it as an image and then place that image on a sheet (images can have different x and y scales). Only you would have to do this every time thing change.

We can also plot in large sheets, the different scale was merely to facilitate comprehension from the reader.

I'll take that solution with the images and give it a try.
I also thought of exporting to .dwg, converting the sections to blocks and then change the horizontal scale. I'll see what is easier/quicker to do.
