Viewing Existing Footings

I have been placing isolated foundations with no issues, but when I save and come back later I can no longer see the foundations or the footings. I am currently in the Mechanical Design aspect of Revit. Is this why?

what are your View Range, Hidden Line & Discipline settings in your view?

Typically Structural view range settings only a foot+/- above the level and then have negative base & depth to see the structures below. A/MEP view settings are typically from the level up with no negative base & depth offsets.
