Using Breaklines to shorten floor plan?

I am trying to recreate some drawings in Revit, and these breaklines on the gridlines are used to make the whole view in the sheet smaller, while keeping the same scale. Is there any way to make this effect work in Revit plan views without making one from scratch to look identical?

Sadly there is no way of doing this. Everything is to some scale in Revit and trying to make something "NOT TO SCALE" with jogging a dimension line is really cheating the system so to speak.

You will need to create an overview plan at some small scale so you can have the dimension from column to column, and then a plan view zoomed into the area of work. Really not much more added work, and really a better way of working IMO.
