Unable to view Generic model under the Floor in Plan

I have a Generic model family loaded and placed under the Floor. I have set the view range of the plan to include the Generic model - the Cut plane is 100mm above the Floor and the Bottom plane is set till 100mm below the generic model. I was expecting to view the generic model underneath the floor to appear in hidden lines in Plan, however, I it is not showing up at all.

The graphic display setting is set to Hidden, with no transparency. Discipline is set to Structural and hidden lines are set by discipline. Depth Clipping is set to No Clip.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

By default hidden elements will not show in a hidden line visual style.

If you want to show it do the following steps.

1-turn the view into wire-frame.

2- from "view"tab click on Show hidden Lines then click on the floor then click on the generic model.

3- turn the visual styles back to hidden.

It should now show as desired.

Hope that above was clear.
