Hi everyone,

is it possible to draw in revit a threaded rod passing through a concrete-steel connection with nuts on both ends like the in the attached picture?

Thanks for your help.

I recall you have to edit the Material for Model Behaviour of the Concrete Beam in its Family >  Steel

Thanks, but is there such a bolt/anchor in revit?

I have only found bolts, or threaded bars with nut on one end.

Gotcha,

Apologies I am not with it today,

The bolts if using the Steel Tab are based on a database and from the Properties Palette the Assembly is predetermined so I can only suggest looking through and searching for an assembly to suit if it is there?

(W+WN mean washer on the head of the bolt and a washer and nut on the other side)

The only alternative would be to manually edit a Standard Bolt Detail Item and use as a 2D representation

A mirrored anchor works but a bit of a fudge

Thanks for your help.  I ended up using a bolt.  It's not exactly what I want but it's close.
