See screen shot. Text on left has smaller intra-letter spacing than text on right even though all properties match. I have no idea why this is happening and I have tried all obvious fixes. I have used matchprop, manually verified type settings, reset fonts, etc. This shows up in PDF as well so its not just some weird artifact in revit.

Try copy-paste the text on the left and retype, maybe it properties stays and the intra-letter spacing stays the same, this worked for me with some rebar properties, maybe with text can work too!

I have noted this in previous Templates opened in newer version and when pasting text from an external source sometimes but when creating everything from new I cannot repeat so initially I thought it was text properties being carried over into Revit from original text formatting.

This may help a little as it does clearly show there is a difference between font styles but also there is a link at the bottom to a Revit Idea specifically relate to this topic.

Row spacing is not the same for all fonts in labels in Revit.

Thanks for the response. It seems to be a per text box issue because when I copy the text from a "narrow font" text box into a "wide font" text box, it looks narrow until I exit the box then it jumps to wide.

I'm attaching a GIF where I show the text jumping from wide to narrow and back. Note that the text box type is the exact same.
