Temporary Interface Lines too long

I'm not sure what the correct term for this is so please see the screenshot below. Sometimes when using the Selection Box tool on a pinned element, trying to use a temporary dimension, or making an array, the extension lines for those things will be incredibly far away from the object. I could only manage to grab a screenshot of the array one so you'll have to imagine the same stretched out effect with other things. This is also the longest I've ever seen the array lines go.

I think it has something to do with view scales interacting strangely behind the scenes with multiple tabs open but I can't seem to get the lines to shorten nor intentionally reproduce the effect with the line for pinned objects.

Does anyone know what could be causing this or how it could be fixed?

It appears to try and place it towards the center of the the model within Sections and Scales or Crop Regions seem to have very little influence on the length and position of the dimension.

You can however edit it afterwards by Selecting the Control Dimension > Hover over it until you see the Drag Symbol > Hold down mouse Button move it closer to the item

I had no idea you could move them! That worked for the array and I'll have to check the others when it happens again. Thank you!

Replying to add a snapshot of the pinned element one. Hovering over the control doesn't bring up the Drag Symbol but that's alright. There probably isn't a solution for this oneScreenshot 2024-09-06 133425.png
