Tagging rebars in a link model

Hello Everyone,

I have two file for my project,

One file (main file) is for Sheet / Designs creation and the other file (secondary file) is for the modeling.

Now I want to link my secondary  file (Which contains rebars)  to the main file (Which is dedicated for Sheet preparation) to prepare the shees tables and designs 

is it possible to tag rebars and do the rebar details from the main file

You can Tag Rebar using the Tab Key on your Keyboard to Cycle though and select it but you cannot place rebar in linked files so may come stuck for Bending Details etc.
