Hi Everyone,
Have you ever realized a staggered bolt connection?
I have some base plates, and I need to realize a version with the staggered bolts, but it seems impossible. Is there any way? Maybe I need to work with Autodesk Advanced Steel. I have attached a photo of what I have and what I want.
I'm always wondering if it's worth the effort. Otherwise, I'm evaluating creating some group of connections as a generic model; at least I can create the shapes I want.
Thank you in advance for the advice on how to do it!

Hi @lglielmi
Even with Advance Steel you wont be able to get that configuration with an out of the box connection.
My advice would be to use the single sided end plate connection, use this connection to create one set of bolts, then add the other set of bolts manually from the steel tab.
If this is a conneciton that you will use a lot then you can make your own connection

I got it; I had to make the custom connection.
About the custom connection, I'm always asking if it is worth using the steel connection brevit or just group by myself. Anyway for now I use a custom connection by Revit
