The structural connection addin should use the same units as the project.
There is only one version that handles both Metric and Imperial units.

Thanks Raral, I do realize that I can change to metric now. However, in 'ALL', I can not find any bolt size standard for New Zealand. Is there any way that I can add more bolts size and geometry by using NZ standard bolts? Cheers~
For now not possible.
We have Australia bolts, maybe they help: AS 1111 and 1252.

Can I set the default bolts type to AS1252?
And how can I do the dimension from the centre of the bolt in an elevation detail view? (I can do in the section detail view)

ok, thanks. But in 2016 how do you create the connection? Use steel connection tools?
The Steel Connections tool that is available in Revit 2017 is not family based- there is no option to edit the connection styles, except through the Connections Properties dialog.
However, you can still create family-based connections as you did in Revit 2016 and earlier, if you want to.

Before dimensioning change display to wireframe and you can pick the center point of bolts. After dimensioning return to hidden view. It's done.
