According Autodesk announcement (Help | Enhancements | Autodesk), Revit LT 2025 should support .step-files. That would help a lot! I just installed the new version of Revit and it seems that there is still no option to handle .step files. Is the information of supporting .step incorrect or am I just lost in Revit? Can some body help

What are you trying to use the .STEP for?  In Full 2025

You can Export to .STEP

you can  Link & Import .STEP

Thanks for reply. I'm using existing STEP-files as a reference in my Revit model. I need to view it in my Revit model for collaboration.

I just have LT version. As known previous versions didn't supoirt STEP-files but if I understood right from Autodesk (see the link in original post), 2025  version should have this ability even in LT.

If you do not have it in the options as shown above, then it is not possible, and the Help is incorrect!

I don't have that option in Revit LT 2025-4. So unfortunately the information at Autodesk Revit LT 2025 enhancements -site was incorrect.. That would have been useful improvement.. Thank you for help.
