Hello!

Tried all checkboxes. How to export steel plate shape, or how to model it correctly to be able export to ifc rounded corners?

Hi,

I assume you tried most settings so i Duplicated and Edited the Existing IFC4 Reference View (Structural) Export Setup in Revit 2023 and set the Level of Detail to High - (I don't have time to test low but though you would have used this by default anyway)

Opening the IFC back in Revit included the Filet (I created using the Steel Tab > Notch Tool)

This was also the case for Navisworks too.

Thanks for your replay!

Did further tests using ifc4 too. Noticed that there is no problems export rounded shapes for beams also in ifc2x3. The problem as I noticed is not with "rounded geometry", problem is with steel tab corner cut function "convex" for inner corners. See picture. I supposed to say it's Revit bug. Hope will be fixed. Ifc format must be 1:1 with rvt.
