Spline-shaped rebar hook

Hallo Gusy

How to make rebar in revit like the picture I included.
Spline-shaped rebar hook, my client asked exactly to be modeled on revit.

Hello @CucuSetiawan 

 

You can model that kind of bend using free form rebar.

It will, however, report the length of the entire bar, as if it were delivered straight, because that geometry is not compatible with Revit rebar shapes and free form rebar shape matching will not work for this situation

 

Using the Aligned Distribution, you can create a structural element with that shape (extrusion from a sketch containing that spline at the corner), select the faces and an edge as the distribution path.

I've attached this simple example rvt file

 

Alternatively, you can use Dynamo to create any curve or succession of curves and produce a free form rebar in Revit from it.

You can use the Structural Design package which already has nodes defined for creating free form rebar.
