Rotate project north

Hi all,

I developed a grid layout. Then realized my North was wrong. So I rotated Project North. But all grid lines also get rotated.

How do I rotate the directions alone? In following picture, I need the Project North pointing left side of the screen. The grid orientation should stay 'as it is' shown on the screen. How to do this?

Thanks

Select all gridlines and rotate them 90 clockwise.

Hi,

Thanks for reply. I already have placed so many CAD dwg links on several levels.  And when linking, I gave the option "current view" only for each dwg file.

So I am not able to select all the links and rotate them all at once. How do I do that?

Thanks

Let's back up a bit.

So you only need the North Arrow on plan pointing to the left?  Why don't you leave the Project  North as is and rotate the North Arrow 90 degree counter clockwise.

If you are not going to acquire coordinates from a link then you could rotate Survey North 90 degree clockwise and Set your plan views to use Survey North orientation.

Hi,

I used your first approach. It worked well. Of course, I unpinned all CAD links on every level, rotated them manually. But in the end, I got the result I needed.

I got few more questions on Project North, but I'll ask in a separate post. Don't want to mix things here.

Thanks
