Revit Precast tab greyed out

Hello all,

I recently took a project over from a coworker that no longer works at the company. It is a hollowcore building and for some reason, the Precast tab is greyed out so I can't actually put in the slabs. Any ideas on how to get this tab active again?

it could be the view is assigned with a view template? go to properties > view template and set to none. thanks

Hi,

Do you have the entire tab disabled so that you can use it at all? Or is it just for some elements or some tools are disabled?

Anyway, the slab tool is not in the precast tab. Can you elaborate?
