revit extensions - load takedown

Hi,

I tried several times  to use the "load takedown" extensions with revit structure 2012x64, but i couldn't.

The structure defined in rst is simply not exported, and the structure in the extension is blank, with no elements, no levels, nothing. see pic.

Did anyone try to use this extension?

Hi,

Yes It works fine, but you should have Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis (RSA) 2012 installed.

Regards.

I forgot to mention it... I also have RSAP2012 installed. but it doesn't work.

How can you import the structure from rst into the extension? shouldn't the process be automatic?

The load takedown should work automatically, in fact It uses a feature of RSA called Autodesk Concrete Building Structures, can you check please if it's also installed.

yes, both CBS and RSAP 2012 (64 bit) are installed.

I also noticed a problem with the "Reinforcement code check" extension: it says that RSA 2012 is not installed.

All the other extensions (Robot and CBS link, slab analysis, beam analysis, etc) work well.

Try to launch both RSA and CBS first.

I did. RSA and CBS open, but load takedown extension still not working.

Maybe i should uninstall and reinstall everything again?

Try first to register RSA components neither reinstall and let us know if it works.

Hi Guys,

If you're using Windows 7 or Vista, turn off the User Account Control (UAC)

I just checked and my User Account Control is turned off.  But I'm still having the same problem.  Any other suggestions?

I just realized there is a Q3 Update for the Autodesk Revit Extensions for Revit Structure.  I got it installed and it seems to have fixed the issue I was having.
