Revit Connections Library

Hi,

If I was to set up a library for standard steel connections, am I better create each type in Revit or create them in advanced steel and then load the types into our Revit template? Revit is where we produce our documentation out of. Are there any good sources or workflows out there to use as a guide?

Thanks

Hi @hpayneM8AU3

If you are using Revit for the modelling of the connections and the detailing then I would create your types of joints in Revit.

With the "Transfor project standards" function you can transfer connection types. So you could create a dummy Revit project to store all your connection types and transfer them in as you need them.
