Revit 2026.4 phase filter question

Dear all,

I have recently started to work with phase filters in Revit, works great for drawings and in 3D.

But when exporting my model the material I assigned for the existing phase doesn't show in a IFC. The elements just show their default materials and colours.

I have set the phase to overriden, so I don't know what I am doing wrong.

See attached screenshots. Bestaand = existing

Any help?

Not sure this is possible without manual overrides as the Element Material is the driving factor and overrides are ignored.

Rules for exporting model colours to an IFC file from Revit

There is a Revit Idea for this which would reinforce this.

Keep color overrides in IFC-export - Autodesk Community
