Revit 2020 Solid filled region masking over 3D elements

Hey All!

So we have moved to Revit 2020 and have run into a major issue with filled regions masking over columns & beams in our plan views. We use the filled regions to identify where our Shear Walls and Overframe conditions occur. When we have a beam and/or column in a shear wall or directly beneath an Overframe condition, it completely masks over the top of them. I have tried checking and unchecking the "Masking" check box, but it doesn't seem to be working. It worked fine in 2019 and it seems they changed the UI for 2020. Is anyone else having this issue and have you figured out a workaround yet?!?!?

Thanks in advance!!!

Chris

The workaround is not to use filled region to indicate overframe or shear wall

Thank you for the reply... albeit not helpful, but thanks anyway! Hoping someone else has run across this issue and has some more meaningful insight into the topic.

Why don't you just model the overframe? Modelling the overframe will help you with your problem.

the only way is to change transparency settings of the filled region.

(I myself dont understand why non masking filled regions actually mask hidden lines for example)
