Im hoping for some assistance on IFC export from Revit, to start with I am an Advance Steel user getting started with Revit so if I am doing anything obviously wrong please let me know.
I am using Advance Steel and need to export an IFC file with an extremely high LOI (see screenshot below) All model elements must have the first 13 fields and Advance Steel I cannot do fields 6-10, 12 & 13
I have used the Advance Steel extension to get the steelwork into Revit, I have then created Project parameters for the fields required
When I export the IFC under property sets I choose “Export Revit Property sets”
Ive been testing my IFC and for beams / columns these fields are included in the IFC
but they are not showing for Plates or Bolts
Ccan someone advise how to get this information to export properly. I have attached the Revit (2019) file for reference
If anyone can recommend a better workflow for getting this information into the model please let me know, i have tried creating my own Parameter Set text file but with no sucsess
