Revit 2018 - PRECAST Module

Hi guys, i trying a new module "PRECAST" in R18!
Everythings is good, but I can not create a Hollow core slab!!! While "solid slab" works properly, Hollow Core Slab continues to give problems!

Everytime I try to create it, alert is always displayed:

Hollow core slab with invalid thickness. Change the selected template family in Config or adjust the thickness of the slab to match.

I tried to change the thickness of the floor, Alert!

I tried to modify the system family from the browser "Families", Alert!

Could anyone help me to figure out where the problem is?

Procedure:

New Project-----> Structural Template -----> structural floor----> modeled
Precast---->select str_floor---->Split-----> Floor Type: Hollow Core Slab

What is thickness of the slab? Also try to adjust the configuration, for example minimum width (try to lower this value), and see if this helps.

Hi,

For this specific case your slab needs to be 200 mm thick so that it matches the thickness of the template. The hollow core templates can be found at this location: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Structural Precast for Revit 2018\Families\en\Custom Slabs . Hi everybody. I have also the same problem. I want to use hollow core slab 220mm, so I set structural floor as 220mm thickness. I also set in precast configuration minimum width 220mm but no way. I try also upgrade the family inside the folder structural precast, but don't work.

Hi! I use basic Hollow core slab; then I changed parameter to width 90-230 and I saved custom family as Hollow core slab 2021

you need to change the thickness of the actual family. please change the thickness of the slab to 200 mm to see if this works. After, please use the link in the thread above.

If I use 200mm (thickness of slab and minimum width in configuration) it works. But I want to use 220mm...

Ok. I'll try to make the custom hollow core with fixed width to 220 mm and save it inside the precast folder

Thank you for the info. I created custom hollow core family with width 220mm (I started from original family and just change dimension to 220 in the front view, other parameter I didn't change) and work it. Now I understand how the module work
