Revit 2017 - Viewcube and other navigation tools missing

This is crazy - the view cube and view tools are activated in my Revit 2017 but are missing on the screen.  I tried the export work around but it did not work.  I have closed and restarted Revit several times to no avail.  Help!

I Think you have tray the following thing: 

Go to the Tab View and use the bottun User Interface.

 

Olso check the options:
