Remove Hidden Lines not working

I know I've asked this before but I can't find it in a search. Whenever I try to use the Remove Hidden Lines button it doesn't do anything. Could I have some graphics override turned on?

Show Hidden Lines under the view's properties must be set to By Discipline.

you should click the remove hidden line button then select the element that will hide the hidden lines then select the element with the hidden lines to be hidden.

That's the problem, it's not working...for me. 🙂

Try Coordination or Architectural with Show Hidden Lines set to by Discipline. Remove Hidden Lines does work with Structural and MEP Discipline.s

if your view IS set to Wireframe, set your view to Hiddenline.

is the issue that you can not select the elements to "To Hide Others" and "Be hidden", or can you select them but it is not removing the hidden lines?

I had set my view to Hiddenline but then back to wire Wireframe to do something else. 

I can select the objects when the hidden lines stay then do not disappear.

No, it was the t.o. platform structural plan. It had Show Hidden Lines set to By Discipline. Once I changed it to None, the hidden lines disappeared.

I knew I missed something.

Of course if you changed Show Hidden Lines to None then all hidden lines will not show. I thought you only wanted to remove selected hidden lines, not all of them. Oh well...

Yes, I only wanted to select only some hidden lines to remove but at this point, I'd rather just remove them all than try and figure out why I can't select just some.

Because the Discipline is Structural. Remove Hidden lines tool only works with Coordination and Architectural views set to Show Hidden lines by Discipline.

p/s: I realize I made a typo in post #8. It shouold read: "Try Coordination or Architectural with Show Hidden Lines set to by Discipline. Remove Hidden Lines does NOT work with Structural and MEP Disciplines."

For some reason, I didn't try this suggestion. I must not have seen it but setting Discipline to Coordination or Architectural worked for me. I wonder why Structural doesn't work?
