Rebar multiple arc reinforcement create

>Hi Guys, I want to select revit rebar spring reinforcement and create a new multi-spring, revit does not allow it.

So you need 3 separate bars for each zone of different radius or a single bar with 3 arcs of different radii?

 

If you are using shape driven rebar, you can only sketch a single arc into such a shape.

If you are using free form rebar, you can define it across the 3 zones by selecting the element faces as the host surface.

Hi, There will be 3 different bows in one rebar, to be connected with other equipment afterwards, thanks.

Also, it does not allow editing the reinforcement made with the commands used in picture 4-5.

You can use aligned distribution free form rebar to define this rebar. Free form is defined by the concrete geometry and can match a rebar shape, but in this case it won't since it has 3 consecutive arcs, which are not currently supported by rebar shapes. This means that the total length of the bar will be reported.

 

After this you can edit the bar constraints and adjust the offset of the bar ends (distance from bar end to the constraint target). You can also create some additional geometry (that you hide in all other views) for constraining the bar ends and stopping the bars at a certain position.

 

Here's a simple example that resembles your case and the steps I took to create and adjust the bars:

Model in place sweep with 3 tangent arcs

Start free form rebar (click rebar in 3d view) and switch to aligned distribution

Set the layout

Select the 3 faces as host surface; select one edge as path > finish to place

Select set > edit constraints > click each end and adjust the offset to drag the end back

Optionally, create some additional geometry (that can host rebar) > edit constraints for set > select ends and constrain to this add geometry
