Rebar end treatment as couplers.

Hello, i'm a new Revit user and was wondering if there's an easier method of applying couplers. In my company we model shear reinforcement T heads as a coupler on rebar ends. My problem with that is that i need to click every single rebar group twice for each end to apply a coupler. I've tried adding these couplers by fillling the End Treatment parameter with desired number. However by manually filling the parameter the coupler are not created.

Is it possible to create such couplers by manual definition of the parameter? Or do i have to use the revit coupler tool. I'm adding a screenshot for better understanding. Revit version 2022.

If you want the coupler element to be created, you need to use the coupler tool.

End treatment is just information about how the end of the bar needs to be machined for the required coupler type. It is added automatically when placing the coupler or manually.

Another way would through some add-in or Dynamo scripts that would automatically add couplers at both ends. I don't have an example of this to recommend.
