Hello,

I have a question that is probably asked a hundred times, but I haven´t come across any good quality answer.

What can I do to show RC beam on floor plans as a projection? Is there any way other than editing family?

Thank you

Do you have a visual example for reference of what you are trying to achieve, as this can be influenced by what type of template you are using, view Ranges etc.

Here is a guide where Object Styles and View Graphic Overrides can be used instead.

I am using structural template. In the instructions, that you provided by link, it is stated that "Remember: Structural plan views look upwards in Revit." - my structural plans are looking downwards by default, I haven´t changed anything.

Anyway, I have got the needed result (overhead beams as projection lines) by following the instructions on the link.
