Projection and cut lines patterns

The pattern colour in our company (in AutoCAD) is using grey colour with a dashed line for underfloor walls, columns, and other components and no colour and full line for walls, columns and other components in the current level. In a case, where there are over and under walls, the colour should be grey with full lines. but in Revit is white due to over is white. Please have a look at the attached photo and let me know how can modify VG to solve it.

Many Thanks

hi @Anonymous ,

the way is you have to create 2 plan views with the same location and scale ( ex. L1 FLOOR PLAN WALL ABOVE & L1 FLOOR PLAN WALL BELOW) then create a view template with the corresponding view range and line style setting. for example for WALL ABOVE the view range setting is a positive value for the cut line and negative value for WALL BELOW. For the projection and cutline, you can play with it. if made that all you have to do is to drag the views into the sheet overlapping each other.

if you find yourself it's not clear please reply.

thank you.

cheers,

Virgilio
