Problem snapping structural end of a brace

Hi

Im having trouble snapping a structural brace. In the attached screenshot i would like the highlighted brace to snap in the same location as the analytical brace line (line in orange), i.e. at the bottom flange of the smaller IPE beam. When i attempt to drag the structural end of the brace it just wont snap to my desired location. Is there a particular reason why this shouldnt be working?

Hey @Anonymous 

You can always type SI, SM & SE to snap to the intersection, midpoint and endpoints respectively. So when selecting the first or second point when drawing your beam it'll snap to wherever you want.

When drawing in 3D, you can turn on 3D snapping.
