Every time I place a parallel chord truss it seems to do whatever it wants. However no matter what I try the web members seem to show up incorrect. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong when placing these trusses?

What was the last structural member that you modeled before placing the truss? Revit will use that when the truss gets placed. Take a look at the Type properties for that truss and make sure each of the members has the correct member associated with it.

Did you try resetting the truss profile? (Select truss and option will be in ribbon)

Yes the problem was with the members I was using. Because the member had a dropline associated to it, the member was being inserted in the member incorrectly. I created a new member with no dropline and it works fine now.
