Hi All,
I'm trying to create an opening family with two lintels to speed up the modeling process. Does anyone have any idea of how I can do that?
I have found this tutorial, but it did not work.

This is what I have in my model. A couple of different cavity walls and both inner and outer leaf will have lintels e most of the cases, the inner leaf lintel is not the same type of the outer leaf.

You could have 2 Lintels Families Embedded within the Opening Family, one for each Wall Layer and then have a Parameter to drive the Spacing of the lintels in Plan, you could even have Visibility Parameter for the Lintel to turn off when you do not have a multiple layer wall makeup

Hi @jay_colcombe
Thank you for your suggestion.
I got it using the opening family and adding the lintels but no I have another issue. I need to tag the lintels to be displayed in the same table.
Additionally, I need to show the color(material) of each lintel in the opening when seen in plan. In the screenshot I can only see it in the bearing length

Are they at the correct level in the Family? i.e. At the Top Reference Plane above the Opening and not at the Level Reference?
Also you may need to use review "Cut when Loaded" as they are cutting the Wall or using the Cut Tool after placement!
