Not able to place isolated foundations at certain grid intersections

Hi All, 

I couldn't find anything similar in the forum that's why I am posting this. 

I am creating a pile layout based on simple and multi-segmented grids.

I am not able to place isolated foundation families at some of the intersections for some reason. 

When placing structural columns I don't have any issue.

Thanks for your reply but this structure has no columns and the foundations need to be aligned with the grids.

my guess is there are too many segments for the foundation to work through. Not to sure why the column would work and the foundation would not. I will keep looking and hopefully come up with something for you

I have ended up using structural columns even they are not the proper families for the piles & pile caps. That gave me the option to place them by grids which was the main objective when modelling this structure.
