Modeling a bent plate

Would someone do a quick video on how they would make the two plates in the screenshot one bent plate? I've tried but for some reason, I can't get the elevation correct. The bent plate won't fit between the flanges of the channel.

Thanks!

Hello, you cannot create bent plate in revit.

Workaround:

> In place component

> set component category to Structural Framing

> create a forum with modelisation tools.

It turns out you can create bent plates. After a little thinking, this process came to me. I'm sure there is a better way but an advanced user would have to show me.

Hello @AntDrt . Can you connect this bent plate with bolts to another element?

Hello @chriskD6WP2 this is currently the best workflow to modelize bent plate with 1 side.

and

@denissecruz26 yes you can add bolts / welds with this workflow

but for multi-side bent plate, ther is currently not way to modelize it easily except by creating a "box plate" and adding steel modifiers to make it look like a bent plate.
