Missing Parameter Column in "Type Properties" when using "Edit Type" of Family.

Does anyone have any experience with this. I have never seen it before:

The parameter column is missing, but it is showing the value of the parameter column.

This is what I am used to seeing:

Anyone know what is going on here and how to fix it? Revit 2024.

I can only assume its a visual issue and maybe related to display settings and monitors etc.  I would first check any settings on your PC for display which may be causing the issue, unplug external monitors or devices, then I would suggest resetting the Revit.ini

How to reset the Autodesk Revit ribbon, toolbar, and browser to default settings

I have this problem too (but with Revit 2025). Reset suggested by jay_colombe does not help. Very difficult to work like this.

Is it possible to make the middle columns thinner/smaller by dragging the split line as it may be pushing it out of the dialogue box as they are too wide?

If you hover on the Left Hand side you Header Field you should see the Stretch arrows to readjust the column width

thanks for the suggestion, but no this is not the answer. when the type properties window is first opened the column is there and appears as normal. the instant an entry in the "value" column is selected the "parameter" column disappears. closing and reopening the type properties brings back the parameter column, but once an entry in the value column is selected it disappears again. i wonder that this has happened because i'm using multiple monitors at different resolutions (laptop driving matching dual external monitors) though now that it's begun the problem persists when using laptop only.
